Aug 2, 2024 Born with a vagina, grew up with a vagina, still has a vagina. From what I understand she has some kind of genetic disorder that causes extremely high levels of testosterone… there are some that say she has XY chromosomes but I have no idea if that is actually verifiee facts or just fake info being spread…
Aug 2, 2024 f---ing ironic for him to say that. He's probably the number one rapper that trips AND gets caught up in that THE MOST.
Aug 2, 2024 Recently he's definitely been paying attention to lists and saying he's the best on tracks now
Aug 2, 2024 A one on one, back and forth beef with a peer (rapper) that's on the same level. Almost every one of the rappers in the goat conversation has had that: A Legendary Beef.
Aug 2, 2024 But you understand the point or do you not?. For example: A lot of people STILL think Drake is better than Kendrick. But then also a lot of people think Kendrick is better than Drake (specially now). I tried to be objective with what I wrote, regardless of who I consider the better rapper/artist of each beef.
Aug 2, 2024 Good list. 1. You could argue Em had to battle the whole rap industry and every racist out there trying to push him out. I get what you are saying though. He can't help it that real lyrcists respect him and he respects them and that no real lyricsist wants to go at him. - Ice Cube is overrated. Have you actualy ever read his lyrics? Very elementary after anything in the 90s - LL Cool J is overrated. Has a few good tracks. Not much success out of the 90s - 50 Cent vs. Ja Rule may be equal to Em vs. MGK. Glad you are giving 50 respect though. Very underrated artist 2. What 20 year artist has no lows? 3. "You don't relate to me, guess you never been angry or sad (Hm) Or maybe just have never had to face any adversity" Imagine if Em stopped after Eminem Show...Gets s--- because he keeps trying new sounds.
Aug 2, 2024 Canibus can be argued but it didn’t really end up in a good beef lol Very common tbf Relatability is subjective, right?
Aug 2, 2024 Did they, though? Do you really think the reason that the biggest rappers during Em's prime, like JayZ or Nas, didn't take shots at Em is because they respect him as a lyricist?. Because if we go with that, what does that mean? Nas didn't respect JayZ as a lyricist? JayZ didn't respect Nas? Tupac didn't respect Biggie as a lyricist and viceversa? Nah, I think they thought Em was just corny and they assumed he'd come and go. Oh and, let's also not forget that Nas sent some very obvious subliminal shots at Em. But Em never fired back. Big Weenie, My 1st Single, Puke, a--- Like That, Rain Man, 60% of MMLP2, 85% of Revival. Name a rapper whose lows are THAT f---ing low. Bruh... come on. Really?. I don't think people who can't relate to a lot of Eminem songs is due to the fact they've never been angry or sad. I think a lot of people can relate to Sing For The Moment, 8 Mile Road, Rabbit Run, Lose Yourself, Till I Collapse, etc... s--- even songs like Guts Over Fear. Although obviously not literally line for line. But we can relate to the concept, the energy. But if we go song for song in each of his albums, I bet you we won't be able to relate to anything he says in many of the songs. The reason why JayZ is considered the #1 in most of the lists is because people can relate to the struggle, the desire for money, power, respect, b------s, etc (just like that Steve Berman's skit said on the MMLP album) You can apply the same reasoning to Tupac, Nas and many others. s---, even 50 Cent to a degree.
Aug 2, 2024 Yup. Although Can I b---- is a very funny diss track and I really like it, it must be said that beef had the potential to be a great one. Two great lyricist. If Joe Budden wasn't such a b----, that one could've been epic as well.
Aug 2, 2024 1. Beef with legit rapper - I mean, yeah. P much just bc all the other greats respect him though lol, can't really help that. But, he did have the Canibus beef, sorta. Canibus is a great rapper. 2. Discog consistency - I think it just feels inconsistent bc he came out the gate with 3 classics. Which, very few do. So then anything less than that feels like a failure, but vs. other rapper's s--- are still inicredible in many ways. Like, many other rappers have their classic scattered... so it seems better bc you can point to a classic here - in the 90s - here in the 010s or something... but if you actually look at his discog it's... 1. SSLP - classic 2. MMLP - classic 3. TES - classic 4. Encore - 50/50 5. Relapse - great. Some (including me, say classic, some say trash, very few deny it's great musically tho) 6. Recovery - good-decent 7. MMLP2 - great songs; messy album, overall - good-decent 8. Revival - horrible 9. Kamikaze - great 10. MtBMB - decent-great 11. TDOSS - decent It's really only 1 truly trash album and that's Revival. But could def accept Encore in there too. But like, the music of Encore and many songs are not trash, he just ruined it. But... 2 bad albums let's say in a discog of actually 12 if you include Infinite... then you got 3 classics and the rest good-decent... that's p d--- consistent. It's just we keep wanting that next classic, and he has bad moments, songs n choices which are so left-field-bad. 3. Relatibility - I don't get this one. Part of the reason Eminem is globally huge, not just in the US, not just to white people are some stupid Americans think (he's literally f---ing huge in Nigeria ffs), is because of his relatability in his songs about being poor, depressed, relationships, inspiration, s--- like this. And how he communicates through words - he makes people feel him. I've known many Africans and dated them and they literally LOVE Not Afraid, because of it inspiring them to try and push out of struggle... Like, yeah he has loads of material which is nothing to do with that stuff too aka horrorcore stuff, political stuff... But even throughout all that - like I always related to his humour. And not his silly haha poo poo humour, I mean his actual proper humour, his wit... that's always what captured me... There's more to relatability than 'I went through this exact thing!' and like black hip-hop figures who say that s--- about him like... what are you r-----ed? You have to go through an identical situation to relate? lmfao. Like people will say 'but I don't hate my moms', you don't need to you r-----... you can relate to the emotion of anger, or distrust or being betrayed.. NO? Lmao, are you that simplistic... like, and people do, hence him resonating all over the world for this long. Bc whether people know it or not, they're relating to more than just I WENT THROUGH THIS EXACT THING DUHH.
Aug 2, 2024 Unfortunately the fans have ruined EM's albums by leaking. No other artist has dealt with leaks the way Em has. Not an excuse. He could have left the leaked songs on the album instead of throwing s--- on in its place.
Aug 2, 2024 eminem was the biggest rapper in the world after MMLP and rappers who actually checked his stuff out other than the funny hits and fights with celebrities he was known for, 10000% knew he was an elite rapper. could've dissed him anytime and it would've made them even bigger and more respected the only valid criticism in regard may be that he never called out any big rapper either. but why would he just out of nowhere? especially considering he respected all of them and was a fan. there weren't a lot of contemporary rappers that blew up with him. the others were already og's basically and why the f--- would he diss them?
