Aug 6, 2024 There's no way Eminem or any artist is deliberately holding back great songs so they can be released years down the line. They release what they genuinely think is the best songs for their album and they try and make it sound like a package, the beats need to compliment each other and the subject matter can't be repeated. An issue with Eminem's music now is it's a mix of rappity rap and songs about real life issues and then there's songs about fictional relationships. He tries to put a bit of everything on there but it's the same things His older material is more memorable because there was lots of things going on in his life and so every song had a specific subject matter. For his next album my idea of what it should be would be a mix of those traditional songs but also new stuff. A song mentioning Hailies wedding. His intruder and how he dealt with it. A fun song about being inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A song mentioning criticisms about leaks, running out of material and touching on the DOSS album and the intended running order. Every song should.be about a specific thing and show where he is in life.

Aug 6, 2024 I do find it intriguing that Eminem really does struggle to "feel" the music anymore as evident by his forced stage presence since he got sober. This is a perfect example of how he physically flows on time with the beat, because it came so naturally to him back then, you can see him really connecting with the music and audience, as opposed to the last 15 years where it's been really awkward and forced. (35:35) The infamous "change" and fall off of Eminem is way more interesting than any of the music he's put out imo.
