If we lose 'Road Rage' & 'Tobey', move 'Head Honcho' and 'Bad One' pre-GC2 and then end on GC2 > Temporary but, with Temporary re-done and written to be like 'Arose' level effective... it'd be a great classic.
Aug 6, 2024 A 'lost' Discombobulated verse is the smart choice if you're going to fake a leak. People assume it's from '09 already. The beat is ready made and available in high quality. Accent Eminem is very distinctive which is useful for duplication, and a little unnatural to begin with so you have room for error. The snippet conveniently sounds like s---, off beat and noisy. I didn't say "THIS IS FAKE", just that I was skeptical. It would be a really well written fake. Some very 'Relapse' lines. That Bruno reference is weird. It would mean he was still using the accent in the booth for a while after Relapse released. I'll gladly be proven definitively wrong by a decent quality leak. Sucks when new stuff is unearthed but it sounds like s---.

Aug 6, 2024 'I am whatever you say I am'. Sums up the whole album concept. He became the criticisms leveled at him aka 'think I'm homophobic? I'll become homophobic', 'think I hate women? watch me become the ultra, psychotic, max-level mysognisit', he embraced all the misunderstandings about him and characterized them, and enacted them... sometimes literally in song and concept-song form - like on 'Criminal'... And he consistently does it throughout the entire album. Aside from the final 'Stan' verse where he brilliantly lets his guard down to let you hear the REAL him for just a second. And ironically still caused the splash that it caused aka the public still took all the rest seriously... which is just, quite amazing, and makes that verse and moment all the more powerful and emphasizing his point. TES is much more just a collection of songs, more true to life and realistically him and about this, that n the other - you got some political s---, you got the Hailie s---, you got the 'woman song' etc., MMLP's 'woman song' was fkn 'Kim' lol. Like, okay you have 'Drug Ballad', but still the verses are entirely in tone and broader to the album's subject-matter. Like, he never strayed from character, no matter the subject-matter, the whole thing was a provocation and 'is he joking? isn't he?' whilst making socio-political commentary throughout. And maximising/testing the limits of free-speech. It's genius.

I tried multiple versions but ultimately, what is below makes the most sense. Aug 6, 2024 I already knew Discombobulated was from 2009 from the extant 2009 vocals in the mostly re-recorded MTBMB version which I've pointed out many times here over the past couple of years, so the existence of this verse didn't surprise me at all. The snippet is intentionally LQ because it was made as a preview for potential buyers. The leaker would be pretty dumb to give them the whole first verse in CDQ for free. Aug 6, 2024 GC2 is one of the worst Eminem songs. He fumbled the whole concept and did a poor man's version of My Darling or Bad Guy 4th verse. It's so naively on the nose, even for Eminem. "You created me to say everything you didn't have the balls to say, but in a more diabolic way", is exposition found in worst movie dialogues. And what does Slim say to Marshall? "Now look at you, little scardy cat". What kind of an insult coming from Slim is that? I cannot believe he fumbled a concept he should have been the best at.
