Aug 7, 2024 Eminem will never fully satisfy his fanbase. He could put out the modern day equivalent of classics like SSLP, MMLP, or TES and people would still complain. Then again I guess people who only clap their hands like r-----s when he puts out songs with Rihanna aren’t really fans to begin with.

Aug 7, 2024 Okay but I promise you the success of a 51 year old millionaire who has no idea who you are does not actually matter at all. Him having a “second single” or selling physicals first week would not actually change anything about the album. If he had a big second single you would bump it for a few days and then start complaining about it just like you did with Houdini. One day you will find other things in life to care about.
Aug 7, 2024 People are now complaining about the replay value of the album. If they want something to listen to over and over again, they can go listen to a pop album. Not everything is designed to be replayed a million times 24/7.
Aug 7, 2024 I have no complaints with the album. I enjoyed it for what it was and I do think it’s a good album but like with a good series, movie, or book, I have no desire to revisit it. That’s the first time that has happened with an Em album for me aside from Revival. Not sure if that is down to the music or my taste in music changing over the years but it is what it is. I’m not mad at it. I’ll still be impatiently waiting to see what he drops next.

Aug 7, 2024 I could've sworn it was in the first 24h people started to ask for more, then the side b rumor started to blow up like crazy. Tbh I am completely satisfied with this project, it would of course always be cool to get new music but I am still letting this album sink in, also I still haven't heard one of the bonus tracks. It all kinda resembles how d--- was recieved in terms of expectations and experience from the listeners, i am in no shape or form comparing their quality of w/e. But with d--- a lot of people were expecting more, "oh s--- he is gonna drop NATION next week to finish the narrative" etc, only to realize later that it is just one body of work that needs time to digest. I mean it took me a while to understand why Em didn't have Shady's voice on All you got and there is probably more details to unpack

I think you'd be more likely to pick and grab stuff you liked from an original draft if you had it to hand (the Niagara, kayak bits) This is one of the reasons why I think that lose yourself demo from shadyxv is 100% fake but believe the discombobulated leak. That s--- was way too convenient for promo, doesn't match up with the original stories of how lose yourself was written and has zero overlap lyric wise with the final version.
Aug 7, 2024 Not the whole album either but I do replay some songs a lot. Sometimes not for days though dont wanna overplay it. Head Honcho is really what I want modern (non shady) em to sound like man. No fast s---, no screaming, no stop and go of choppy s---... just a slow flow thats nice to listen to
