Aug 11, 2024 No, it’s not simple as that. What a black and white way to look at music. MMLP is his best album but I rarely get the desire to listen to that either. Does that mean MMLP sucks? No. My desire to listen to something doesn’t impact the actual quality of the music.

Aug 11, 2024 I don’t fully agree. Trap production is part of it, but it’s not just because he chose trap beats. It’s because he chose boring trap beats. There’s plenty of memorable trap songs out there. Couple those boring beats with the same subject matter of Eminem being bitter about critics for half the album and you get a grueling album listening experience. After that shock from the surprise drop wears off, the album starts to age poorly.
Aug 11, 2024 I’m enjoying TDOSS era a lot, but it had huge problems like the album sitting on 1 only pillar, Houdini. No other songs made it out of the album, same thing happened with Revival and Side A (River and Godzilla)
Aug 11, 2024 Em could have more hits on the album if he actually dropped some Music videos. Even tobey got 60M streams. Fuel would blow up with a proper MV. Even an Antichrist, Lucifer or GC2 MV would keep the album legs up. But the album is already a hit so I can see why they don’t care anymore and just letting Houdini ride out for the rest of the summer
