Aug 14, 2024 Idk what to tell ya, hearing those flows for the first time was f-----, in a good way. Side B did nothing at all for me tho
Aug 14, 2024 I don't only like the part where he describes how he used to be beaten up as a child. I've heard it million times already and in this verse the part seems kind of overlong to me. The rest of the verse is TES level though
Aug 14, 2024 This just proves my point. The concept makes no sense. There is no difference. Who killed who? Why death of slim shady? Why the laughter at the end? Its all pointless
Aug 14, 2024 MGK is literally the biggest cornball alive. Almost as wack as Benzino. But at least MGK can actually rap decent, and has a career with his pop rock emo s---. But gosh he is so cringe. Daily reminder he started it, and is clout chaser.
Aug 14, 2024 “Til emotions evoke tears, my whole career's A stroke of sheer genius, smoke and mirrors, tactical, practical jokes, yeah You motherfuckin'— insert insult here” Slim already told you what he do.
Aug 14, 2024 I agree with the kitchen utensil. The Death Of Slim Shady is a paradox. A great listen, an awful concept album. It is fundamentally flawed, all stemming from Slim Shady. Look at the contradictions: - It is about Slim Shady's death, but he has always been depicted as a character that cannot be killed (despite numerous attempts). - It is about Slim Shady's death, but Eminem has stated multiple times that they are one and the same. - It is about Slim Shady's death, but the most popular/successful element of the album is Shady being back in the first place. - It has more killer bars than Em has delivered in a while, full of references and easter eggs, but it is probably the album where he says the least. - There is barely any story to the ficitonal return of Slim Shady. They argue and Em shoots him. There is no new insight into the real life return of Shady either, or even the decision to k--- him off. - Slim Shady is barely a character, and Eminem does little to display how they are different, or paint a fresh picture of the divide between them. - Slim Shady returns, but the album fails to depict what Eminem was like before. Slim Shady 'dies', but the album fails to depict a meaningful or exciting change after this. - Who wants Shady dead? Eminem is still finding him useful. Fans seem happy he's back. He's a writing tool, arguing with him provides interesting content, as well as this whole album. - Slim Shady is crazy and dangerous, however this is established not through actions, just through constantly asserting that he is bad. It's needs some musical 'Show don't tell'. - There are 3 tracks in a row that are just 'I am bad, srsly' songs and are even named EVIL, LUCIFER & ANTICHRIST. And yet, they are awesome. I do like this album a fair bit btw, so don't say I'm complaining.
Aug 14, 2024 I’m 6 years late, but in Rap Devil when he said I think my dad’s going crazy. Mgk just called Eminem his dad ♂️♂️ still can’t believe ppl think mgk won. Took this live performance to catch that. This diss has so many flaws
Aug 14, 2024 How hard it is to accept touring triggers his addiction It's not gonna happen and if it does it'll be a few shows
Aug 14, 2024 We all know MGK was hoping they'd squash this beef and he'd get a photo or a feature out of it like many rappers do when they resolve beefs. It has to be killing MGK Em don't let s--- go LOL
Aug 14, 2024 Yep - this why we never getting a major tour again. Headlining festivals and a few major cities is all we can hope for.
