Aug 16, 2024 Kinda but not really. There's something deeply soulless about Revival tracks. Something missing. They're empty. It's hard to say why, and it's not just 'bad production' or 'bad lines', bc Recovery and MMLP2 have plenty of that too but it was nowhere near the same reaction, rightfully so. It's so strange he's so in love with Revival when, you can't trick us - you can't trick passion; there's no soul in your words or voice here. I don't get it. Bizarre project and moment for such an artist. But, as bad as STIW is/was... it's nowhere near as souless and terrible as anything on Revival.
