Aug 17, 2024 Yeah 'Kim' is more like, performance art. It's a great performance, it's like a movie scene. Great hook though.
Aug 17, 2024 What happened to Bebe The Monster, she got kicked out of a flight for speaking Albanian? Free the homegirl
Aug 17, 2024 Maybe not completely since the physicals still not released but I wouldn't expect much. They picked the somebody save me as third single outta nowhere and barely did anything so I doubt em will wanna release a video for it, also due to its content... If fuel was the 3rd single I'd expect more tho...
Aug 17, 2024 Because of the silence of promoting DOSS, I'm starting to believe there a side B of it, that's why he doesn't promote it anymore because he's not done with the album yet and he will talk about it when he's really done with his famous alter ego Slim Shady. Slim is not gone yet, mark my words!
Aug 17, 2024 Never understood why how people can rate Stan as a masterpiece and one of Eminem's greatest pieces of music (which it rightly is), yet on the topic of Kim they "cant listen too it too much" only a few times a year . They are both equal artistic expressions, and both are fictional stories. It's just music ffs. Kim is an amazing piece of original art. Add in the little mythical elements of him supposedly recording it in one take, plus the production and the fact Mark Bass played live drums. Its a stone cold classic and IMO its kinda a p---- take to claim you can't listen to it because it makes you uncomfortable.
Aug 17, 2024 Not just yet https://x.com/kofi_champ_/status/1824746815029187071?s=46&t=hQuOIO8N18AWdQ3hRPZzFw
Aug 17, 2024 It's an observation. No need to cry about it. Last thing we want need is you making another eminem video.
Aug 17, 2024 Yes and one that's been made already by like 10 other people. The last thing this thread needs is another NPC post about Eminem's sales.
Aug 17, 2024 I don't wanna see freaks but sometimes I have too lol society was just easier when you could call a freak a freak and move on with your life
Aug 17, 2024 This is a terrible take, bro. If you confine music and art into a limited framework like you've just done, everything would end up sounding the same. You can dislike the song, but attacking someone's artistic expression and their effort to push boundaries, as the song "Kim" does, doesn’t make sense. There's never been a concept quite like "Kim" before, and the way it was executed with the back-and-forth dialogue and the vivid imagery it creates in your mind, is impressive. Even as a kid listening to it, I realized it was deranged, something I shouldn’t be hearing and turned the volume down anytime I played it so my Mum wouldn’t hear it.
