Nov 7, 2021 There’s some good songs on b but it’s mostly so bland and generic. Makes sense it’s a b side I guess. The only REAL skip for me on A is In Too Deep. Darkness is such a good song but way too depressing to listen to casually. The last 7 songs are his best good song stretch since relapse I believe.
Nov 7, 2021 In 2002, Em and Truth Hurts dropped on Aftermath just weeks apart. Silk Sonic drops on Aftermath Friday, but I don’t think that would stop Kendrick from dropping within a few weeks after.
Nov 7, 2021 I don’t like Side B being a taste of his beat selection for the future too. Very unoriginal almost tasteless production. Side B is definitely the more consistent but A’s highs are much higher for me.
Nov 7, 2021 Yeah side a seems more like just a list of songs for me than side b for sure but yes side a’s highs are way f---ing higher and there’s a lot as far as I’m concerned. And some of those beats on B are horrendous.
Nov 7, 2021 Side A & B is the same case for Em over an over again since Encore. If he mixed in the bonus cuts in with the Main album and cut out some s--- songs he’d have some solid albums. I just don’t understand it at all. Encore, MMLP2 & MTBMB all suffered from this.
Nov 7, 2021 I agree but, for me, Encore was such a lost cause. Like, wtf really? After SSLP MMLP and TES, Encore was the biggest buzz k---. That’s part of the reason I was totally blown away with Relapse. When I heard he was dropping a new album I was like f---ing why man?! But then Relapse dropped and I was blown away and obsessed like with SSLP. That was insane.
Nov 7, 2021 Exactly and the haters on here will hate on me by showing you the the numbers of 14, And 7 trying subliminal diss me. I'm the biggest Stan on this page
Nov 7, 2021 An hour and a half still? You’ve mostly just cut the skits out as well, it’s pretty much the same album but less connected lol
