A constant nightmare of Slim shady returning to haunt and cancel him. But Ativan is also used for alcohol withdrawal, and Eminem is sober. So the metaphor is he is constantly fighting addiction/ his alter ego Slim shady. and the moment the drug kicks in, he is back in that headspace. Dreaming from Shady’s perspective now. Driving his black sedan straight into a van. Plays into the theory that the real Eminem was killed in a car crash in 2005. This is when the Iraq war was ongoing, hence why he used the Afghanistan setting. Stan’s been chasing the cloning/death conspiracy’s since then. But Eminem keeps rolling and driving foward to fight through the backlash. Cuz he is an Avalanche. The literay definition of avalanche is a sudden arrival or occurrence of something in overwhelming quantities. Just like Eminem’s debut on the rap game with My Name is.
