Jul 1, 2021 Correct me if I'm wrong but I feel like using a mainstream label to sign people who don't get recognition is almost strictly a good thing obviously shady records is terrible at promo and they would only be worth signing if they were a good artist but this comment feels a little weird
Jul 1, 2021 This dude is putting out a song and a video tomorrow. A week or two after Boogies last single Em dropped. If this guy is on his label too maybe Em will drop in a couple weeks.
Jul 1, 2021 Thought this was interesting as it's a wider pool than this site. People seem to as it stands, be in agreeance, albeit on a small majority, that MMLP2 is the better project than both the MTBMBs combined.
Jul 1, 2021 MMLP2 is one of the greatest albums of all time across all genres. It was the start of Rick Rubin and Em collabs. I know they are hated on this site, but they really worked well together and made some classics. Most people outside this forum really enjoy those tracks. Y’all just live in a bubble and s--- on the teet of his first three albums, when in reality, those albums aged horribly and are terrible projects.
Jul 1, 2021 The highs on MMLP2 are some of his best material in his catalogue but the lows are some of his worst and album overall, is all over the place with production, theme and the tracks selected, just wasted potential as album could have been so much more if he stuck to the concept of the album and tracks that fitted with the album. MTBMB A is generally a solid album, highs not as high but it’s his most coherent album since Relapse and all flows nicely together. Side B is cool. But pretty much nothing new and kinda played it safe imo. But overall, it all fits and for that it’s a better than MMLP2. MMLP2 is his biggest misstep in his career as he had the potential, concept and peak of his rapping. Rap God is a masterpiece and modern day MMLP track. Apart from Berserk, Bad Guy and So Far, rest of the album was all random tracks that seemed like he threw together.
Jul 1, 2021 A major label's job is to literally bring newcomers and introduce them to the masses. That's what Eminem been doing.
Jul 2, 2021 Let's appreciate how great the mixing is on Eminem's latest projects. A h--- of a long way from where he was at as late as 2017.
Jul 2, 2021 I don’t know why you lost faith in his features. In the past year or two he’s been killing all of them. Lord above, kid cudi s---, b---, and I even liked his verse on that Jessie Reyes song, and his big Sean verse wasn’t bad, so what feature made you lose faith?
