Dec 12, 2024 The moment this didn't feature cartoon dogs on the artwork like the original it was set and done... This is Snoop's MMLP2 but worse.
Dec 12, 2024 I’m doing way better than months ago since I started getting treatment for my depression. How are you? I’ll have to get more active in the discord server again
Dec 12, 2024 This why Em never wanted to be on a Snoop album..Haha Who produced From the D to the LBC?
Dec 12, 2024 On my fourth listen the Eminem verse is still less than overwhelming, but the way he says "camera" reminds me of Don't Approach Me where he rhymes the word with "animal". Although he doesn't rhyme those words in succession here, he says "animal" later the rhyme scheme, and obviously the content is similar. Again not a groundbreaking verse by any stretch but it is certainly nostalgia inducing. Makes me want to listen to MMLP.
Dec 12, 2024 Lol Missionary makes perfect sense and is quite a genius title. Doggystyle from the name yeah, but the album cover and vibe was themed around that too, and so Missionary to flip that (figuratively not intended) - but also because he's much older now it's like 2 bookends/when he first started vs. when he's on his way out... Bc you're wilder when you're younger = doggystyle, and more tame as you age = missionary. Perfect. So it's like where he's at now, at this tamer age.
Dec 12, 2024 Em @ production. As usual, underrated production. s----s on most the guys he works with.
Dec 12, 2024 This s--- actually a great live performance... I know we can't see them on the vid but presume maybe the audience could or maybe they stayed backstage n let the video show full, but you can def tell they're both live; both spit their verses great live, and both great verses - really great modern Em verse too, like 'Moon Man' verse, really stepped up, and good actual song too.
Dec 12, 2024 How many times do I have to tell yall that Dr Dre is trash now and yall waiting for a pile of doo doo with this album.
Dec 12, 2024 Dre has been washed. Compton - A bunch of other producers I Need A Doctor - Alex Da Kid Kush - DJ Khalil Dre need to stop making people believe this all him.
Dec 12, 2024 Em totally soulda put 'Castle' & 'Arose' on TDOSS. Everybody woulda respected it, G move, known why, and it's like salvaging them two great tracks from that disaster, and woulda added to TDOSS. Rather than re-making subpar SSM & Temporary. He put 'Brand New Dance' meant for Encore n justified it funnily, he coulda found a way, a skit or something, to make it work. Don't need 'Head Honcho', 'Bad One' (especially, saying a whole lotta nothing/Side B s---, and not even that well written), or 'Tobey', all filler/bonus material. 'Fuel' remix is fire, obviously especially Em's verse, and coulda worked probably somewhere, maybe right after 'Road Rage', lots of people do remixes of a song on the album now, normally feels a bit tacky and mix-tapey but I think the caliber of the remix here and what he's saying are enough to justify it; could call it 'part 2'. Let's see how that looks... 1. Renaissance 2. Habits 3. Trouble 4. Brand New Dance 5. Evil 6. All You Got (skit) 7. Lucifer 8. Antichrist 9. Fuel 10. Road Rage 11. Fuel pt. II 12. Houdini 13. Breaking News (skit) 14. Guilty Conscience 2 15. Castle 16. Arose h--- yeah. 9/10 then.
Dec 12, 2024 Yeah, I’ve said the same thing myself. With how much he complained about Castle and Arose not getting the love it deserved because no one heard the album, then if he put them songs on TDOSS it would have been a G move and a big middle finger to everyone. Somebody Save Me and Temporary are terrible songs as well, so was pointless remaking them. Should have just had the bollox to put them on the album.
