He gets credit for flows, but, I mean the way he cares about delivery of every syllable, he's a proper voice artist. And puts so much drama and emphasis, and clarity. As I said, lots say 'oh who did Em influence' just BC they ain't seeing rappers with blonde hair and white tees lol. Ppl have such a low grade view on influence. Like only if it's an obvious rip of a flow or something like Wayne or Drake, then everybody is like 'wow drizzy so influential!' Em has influenced on deeper levels than that. Kendrick, arguably the best mainstream for sure rapper right now... Has said himself that em influenced his 'clarity' and 'drama' in his flows, and he studied mmlp like 'how is he doing that'. That's huge. That's influencing an artists' entire mind and way of approaching things.

I’ve had to help people write songs because they couldn’t rhyme which is pretty alarming if a songwriter is what they’re trying to be lmao. I also did a track with a homie once and I had to help him write his whole verse meanwhile I just wrote mine on my own + some of it was freestyled
