Jan 13, 2025 Thas wild take. It's not bad, n p catchy but nowhere near as good as Rhyme or Reason, Rap God, Brainless. Rapping on it is a bit much.
Jan 13, 2025 Listen, we all know I rag on post 2009 Eminem alot and he really didn't turn into the worst rapper. But him changing his career trajectory in 2010 was really upsetting. Turned into the guy he made fun of, at the expense of our ears. The songs that leaked from 2009 and earlier make me sad. He was soooo good. Ugh.
Jan 13, 2025 I love most of TDOSS but it was way too outdated on the buttons it tried to push, some might say that was the whole point cause "Shady is out of touch" but I think they're giving Em way too much credit, mf couldn't even stick to the concept for the entirety of the album

Jan 13, 2025 It’s crazy to think about it, but him going pop really negatively affected the rest of his career trajectory. Just imagine how different things might look now if he had went the Relapse 2 route. Without Recovery, would we really have MMLP2 or Revival?
Jan 13, 2025 Yeah i think that's ridiculous, the idea he'd be outdated on purpose lol. No, he wanted to and always wants to cause a fuss. I don't think it was so much outdated but just tame. It's supposed to be a nightmare of Shady coming back and saying all f----- up s--- in 2024 to get him cancelled and the best he comes up with is 'f--- deaf people', like, nobody gives af about that lol, bc he was too scared to say anything actually offensive. Which he shouldn't have been, bc that was the point of the concept of Shady just saying the worst s--- for its sake... But, this nightmare Shady was like 'can't we just show solidarity with a wrist band?', I mean, cmon. He went hard on blind people n deaf people bc he knows nobody cares lol, he's scared of real offence. And yeah as you say, he trailed off the concept towards the end majorly. That last leg really let the album down.
