Dec 8, 2021 a punk rock album from Eminem at this moment would be fire and his most unusual album. only without fast rap and stupid rhymes. we want lines that make sense, not just dumb rhymes. I hate it when Eminem makes lyrics just to rhyme every f---ing word. in the 2000s I think he didn't care about rhymes at all and he did a exellent rap music, now all he worries about is f---ing rhymes and behind these rhymes he lost his lyrics and lost himself as an artist.
Dec 8, 2021 Kush didn’t have the Detox sound it had the emulation of 2001 sound, he didn’t even produce it. It’s still a good song but holding it up to Detox standards & to not do the same with some of the Compton songs is pretty mad to me. That new snippet is great too. Not liking Paak at this point is also a nutty take, he has so many different styles. Try this.
Dec 8, 2021 I think it was perfect for Dre. I tried to like Compton but I ended up not playing it anymore after a couple listens. Loved it. That's the last time I was hyped for a Dre project.
Dec 8, 2021 The Kendrick/Dre songs on Compton are insane other than that yeah hope this soundtrack is much better
Dec 8, 2021 you are wrong bro. khalil said the first kush beat he did was totally differen than the one released. he said dr. dre re produced the whole kush beat from start to end and but gave khalil the credits. kush had the vibe which combines 2001 and detox era to me. paak is the best thing happened to dre in last decade. he is a good rapper, singer and songwriter. he made the compton better than it is with his contributions. if "all in a days work" could be re-produced and mixed by dre seriously it would be in my top 10 dr. dre songs ever and it would be a good chocie for dre's come back. animals is also another street b-----r. cheers is my favorite joint on oxnard. best dr .dre production in last few years.
Dec 8, 2021 Well, I'm not. I prefer Weeknd and Bruno a 100 times. I think the best thing that happened to Dre last year was Kendrick, wish he would have stayed closer to him since I didn't like his albums after GKMC. And the Apple and Beats deals obviously.
Dec 8, 2021 Going back through MTBMB and g.d. "Leaving Heaven" is underrated. It's like a modern day TES track.
Dec 8, 2021 Marsh before the Super Bowl announcement and having never listened to a single Kendrick song "Huge mistake makes little to no sense to have Kendrick Llama on stage with these legends who said this was a good idea? Supsuck?" Marsh 2 days ago after finding out Kendrick has a song with Rihanna "Greatest idea ever, honestly Kendrick had the most impact on his career where would dre be without him? hope they bring Rihanna out of ri-tirement for a collab f--- supsuck"
Dec 8, 2021 I even edited the post 30 minutes later to make it feel more like an authentic marsh post
Dec 8, 2021 But people called everything he dropped a classic and he's considered top 3 (newer artists I mean).
Dec 8, 2021 You're funny Carni. But I used to be into G-Unit music and that includes Game, who put Kendrick on his mixtape way before GKMC. So I already knew him because of the collab they did. I just don't enjoy his music (and voices) after GKMC. His collabs with Game were dope though. And you can tell everyone else is 20 years older than him, meaning from a different generation. I would have went with Cube instead.
