Jan 20, 2025 It honestly amazes me how different he manages to sound on pretty much every album he just make a conscious effort to do so. Whether it’s a different way of mixing, layering, etc. I think Kamikaze and MTBMB (Side. A) are the closest in terms of his vocal performance, but aside from those they’re all pretty different

Jan 20, 2025 Hated it on Side B, but I’m good with it on DOSS, Kami, and Side A. MMLP2 I just wasn’t super into the mid tones he was exaggerating with like, no doubling whatsoever bar a few tracks Revival is one of the worst mixes ever. His vocal EQ was okay and better than Side B but the overall mix of each song was disgusting recovery is hit or miss for me. Some songs he’s peaking out wayyyy too hard. But GTC, WTP, the more toned down tracks are good but I agree, relapse is the best out of them all

Jan 20, 2025 got me I like Recovery,MMLP2 and Kamikaze more because of the content and emotion behind the music. Relapse is a cool concept album with probably his best production after TES and MMLP but the music doesn't move me as much as the other ones I mentioned above.The only song that does move me alot emotionally is beautiful goat song!!And btw Stay wide awake and Buffalo Bill are songs with kick a--- flows!!I'm going to give that s--- a spin right now.

Jan 20, 2025 yeah it’s mind boggling. but we do know em ain’t great with criticism. Dre should’ve said at least something though. We know he heard it before hand and was one of the main supporters of it to Em after everyone s--- on it
Jan 20, 2025 I believe he also was the one who told Em to "have more fun" with the album so I hold him partially responsible for "Remind Me" and "Heat", not that the rest is any good but those 2 in particular are horrendous
