Jan 21, 2025 I really don't see the hype for I'm sorry. I literally don't enjoy a single thing about it. However songs grow on me. Maybe it will click. For me I enjoy follow me the most. I was such a huge nate dogg fan growing up. It might not be the best song. But I got to listen to nate for what will probably be the last time ever.

Jan 21, 2025 One thing I've learned over the years is some tracks become more enjoyable the more you relate to them, that's why I like I'm Sorry and unironically somewhat like Tragic Endings and Bad Husband from Revival, though I completely understand the criticisms but Tragic Endings still sounds dogshit. Em should've done a Kanye and updated the album after release
Jan 21, 2025 Tragic Endings is bizarrely overhated. I don't buy the idea that everyone came to the conclusion that it's bad on their own. Stinks of mindless groupthink to me. Just because it's on Revival and people hated on the whole album when it dropped doesn't mean every song on it is s---. There are exceptions, and Tragic Endings is one of them. It's a decent track. Not a classic but far from bad and above average in my objective opinion.

Jan 21, 2025 Never liked Tragic Endings. Mixing is dog s---, too much Skylar, some awful lyrics on there too - esp the "manure/sewer/piece of s--- running through her" scheme. Obviously it's one of the better songs on Revival still cos the flow is listenable. Definitely an old song/made up of different eras though. Recovery obviously but King Mathers kinda comes to mind too.
Jan 21, 2025 The hypnotic beat, ear-candy Skyler Gray hook, and on-point Eminem delivery trumps the bad mixing and bad line(s). Unless it's absolutely unforgivable a bad line or two doesn't spoil an otherwise solid song, and MMLP would still be good music if it were mixed poorly. 7/10
