Mar 25, 2025 Mainstream rappers from the 2000s stood out more because they all sounded different. That's not to say the 2000s was some great era There are still a lot of quality rappers that stand out today. Like Kendrick and J Cole.
Mar 25, 2025 That's actually true. Alot of rappers today sound like a very s-----y clone of Young Thug. Dyed braids and all look the same too. Originality is almost non existent. But one thing will always stay the same, no matter what generation...and that's Hellmann's Original Mayonnaise.
Mar 25, 2025 A lot of it is the producer’s fault. They keep making the same beats over and over again, of course rappers aren’t going to be inspired by that
Mar 25, 2025 People that only listen to one artist or mainstream are so weird. Bro get some diversity and expand your horizons. Like me, I listen to more then just Eminem, there’s Slim Shady, D12, Royce, Ez Mil, Skylar Grey, Dre Dre, & 50Cent. Oh yeah, and Slaughter House.
Mar 25, 2025 I agree and disagree, since producers aren’t forcing anyone to use their beats. They create and offer beats based on what the rappers want. If a rapper doesn’t know what he wants and just settles for a generic beat the producer offers, that’s on him. Will watch the vid later
Mar 25, 2025 It’s really informative and basically describes how the current system of producing and collabing over the internet stifles creativity.
