May 2, 2025 Still give most songs from it a spin now and again.. haven't listened to Road Rage, Head Honcho, Bad One or Tobey since September last year tbh.
May 2, 2025 Understandable. Road Rage is the worst and Head Honcho is one of the weakest songs to me too due to the majority of the song feeling like it’s Ez Mil’s song. I like Bad One for some reason but it could’ve been a bonus track tbh. Tobey was cool but I don’t have the desire to go back to it much, that lowkey could’ve been a bonus track too. I mostly hear Fuel and that’s about it. Sometimes I’ll wanna go back to Houdini. Not to diminish the quality of the album though, it’s still an 8/10 to me.
May 2, 2025 It's 6.5/10 at best imo. Road Rage and Head Honcho are too d--- boring. Bad One and Tobey are just decent songs but feels like they don't belong to the album. The whole premise of Slim Shady coming back to say offensive to cancel Marshall is too stupid and a massive cop out from actually making a good concept album but that would require taking a lot of risks in the creative process. This album is like taking the joker character and instead of writing him like the Joker from TDK (exciting) or Joaquin's Joker (mature/dark/introspective), writing the joker like Jared Leto's Joker. A completely intentionally dumbed down version of Slim Shady. I don't want that. Either go Shady with some interesting concept or don't. Half baked s--- is the reason why Eminem's career fell off after MMLP2. Temporary and Somebody Save Me doesn't connect that well to the album. This doesn't help the fact that the album after GC2 feels like a filler to make the album duration longer. Somebody Save Me is just poorly executed version of Castle and Arose. I'm not listening to this album that much, just Fuel and Houdini like you said. Add Evil to that list. That's it.

May 2, 2025 I love DOSS (first half or whatever) but I still agree I felt that it was a "flanderized" version of Shady even when it first came out I also agree that the concept is a bit too lazy now looking back, I was expecting something more like "My Darling" or "Deja Vu" but for a whole album
