Dec 24, 2021 Christmas time is the worst possible time to release anything except if it's related to Christmas in music industry. Just check the charts, top 10 contains like 5-6 dumb christmas songs on every streaming service. Streaming numbers would be low, chances of becoming #1 would be less.

Dec 24, 2021 Relapse: Refill came out on December 21st, a few days before Christmas and that was not a problem. This was the era of CD's, when you had to go to the store and buy a physical disc. Now is the streaming era - you can just open Spotify app and listen to the new album with wireless headphones while your family gets ready to celebrate Christmas. We live in an era where you can release an album literally any day. There are no more physical constraints when you have to go to the store and buy a cd/vinyl/audio cassette. You don't have to go anywhere to get the album. During these 2 years, everyone is tired of the pandemic and everyone is ready to receive new content. Now there is a shortage of new content, because a lot of music and films are not released due to the pandemic, now there is much less competition in the industry than before the pandemic.
