Dec 28, 2021 The first time I listened to MMLP2 I was left shocked at how poor it was. It sounded (and still sounds) so dated. It was an album for mountain dew drinking cod nerds. Rubin and Royce are the worst thing that ever happened to him.

I hated it first listen because it wasn’t what I expected/wanted but it grew one me, Bad Guy Rhyme or Reason Legacy Rap God Love Game Brainless Headlights Evil Twin Groundhog Day Beautiful Pain Don’t front h--- I could even throw The Monster in there as a guilty pleasure. Video is nice too. I f---s with MMLP2.

Dec 28, 2021 MMLP2 had some good songs, but it's all over the place and probably only better than Revival imo. I think naming it MMLP2 and the whole marketing plan hurt the album more than helped it. The blonde hair was corny as h---, and I remember leading up to it he stated his reasoning for calling it MMLP2 was because it was personal like MMLP and a snapshot of where his life was at in 2012/2013. But...it's probably his least personal album. Apart from the last verse of Bad Guy and Headlights, the most personal he got was a song talking about taking s----s and how he doesn't know how to use a computer. Brainless is the only song I still listen to from it. If his next album is going to be MMLP3 it needs to be for the right reasons and not just because Paul thinks that will help the album sell.
