Jan 10, 2022 While we're on the subject of artists and their good and bad albums, Eminem did the absolute worst thing as an artist when he accepted the backlash for Relapse with "yea...you're right, it is kinda trash, sorry". Absolute zero artistic integrity there. Have your album s---, but stand behind it. Then he couldn't do the same thing twice with Revival, so that's when he suddenly decided to stand firmly behind his vision, when the album really is a mess in every possible metric. But I don't buy it at all that he believes Revival is a good album and it's all just our fault. Eminem should really be held in a cage like in The Monster video, just have him make an album in complete isolation and don't ever let him know how it went.
