Jan 12, 2022 They’ll want to space out the Em and Dre albums (and singles) to some extent to give each some breathing room. A month seems just about the right amount of time to allow the Em single to introduce younger, more casual hip-hop listeners to Dre. Think of it as the inverse of Dre introducing Em to a wider audience with 2001’s Forgot About Dre with the MMLP dropping 6 months later. The different timeframes between the two albums just speaks to the fact that the industry is very different in 2022 than it was in ‘99-2000.
