Jan 14, 2022 I agree for the most part. Stans do tend to over-react a bit. However, my gripe with Eminem for the most part has been his complete disregard for the beat and coming up with corny puns that don't land at all. Add to this his gazillion flow switches and it just gets tiring. He nailed his verses on Side A and Side B for the most part and I love those albums. However, it doesn't alter the fact that he had stupid puns on that one too. And as good as his rhyme schemes are, they don't hit when the flow's this wack. It's especially frustrating knowing what this man is capable of but instead chooses to do lmao. Still very optimistic about the next album as one feature doesn't change things but his obsession with puns, poor mixing and gazillion flow switches is a lurking problem for sure.

Jan 14, 2022 I’m not mad at the verse. But, I understand completely why people are reacting to it the way they are. I get it. But, my only issue is how overblown the reaction is. Meaning, this one bad verse according to them now ruins anything else currently he’s done I’m this latter half of his career. They are acting like Twitter does. Because they aren’t a fan of new Eminem anytime he does something that comes close to what they don’t like this gives them the justification. It’s like when Kobe scored 81 points but then say for instance the next game went 4/12 and had 3 turnovers “See! Look. I told you. He’s not better than Mike. Look this proves it. Same thing with this verse “See! All he does is fast rap. That’s it. Every single verse. Trash” Again, me personally I’m not mad at the verse. If anything I wish he would of added his angry flow in it and kept the same tone he had in the first few seconds Calm = Mildly angry = Spazz out at the end. It would of fit perfectly for this beat. So I have my criticism too. But again long story short: It’s not that serious.
