Jan 15, 2022 I think what he is doing now, is way to go. Just co signing them, giving them a distribution and platform and leave them be. Before that, he got way to involved and ruined SH and Yelas first albums, bad attempts at making Recovery 2.0. Likes of Grip and Boogie know they have a niche audience and they cater to that, getting a platform from Em will just help grow their audience and make better connections in music. Em looking for next 50 Cent is never going to happen. Any of these underground artists who signs a deal with him know that and vice versa. Just be free, create your own sound and control of your music.

Grip flopped harder than anyone else on Shady, so I don't know what they learned exactly. And Def Jam got rid of Paul as expected. Snoop barely did s--- and he already did more for Def Jam than Paul lol
