Of course I consider the Michelle s--- corny, but bars like "I have to be stomped by 40 men to suffer a defeat(80 feet)" can't be corny you f---in moron Or the since an addy (Cincinnati) bar, or the ghostwriter/rider scheme

Jan 17, 2022 Yeah songs like Walk on Water and Bad Husband carry for me. Revival is definitely bad, but its highs are much better than Relapse's highs, and isnt as consistently unlistenable as Relapse.

And while Kamikaze and Relapse are very rap-heavy, most of the bars on Relapse make 0 to no f---ing sense

Jan 17, 2022 it's an acquired taste, i can't say i blame anyone for being turned off by an album where 90% of it is him rapping about raping and murdering people in an arabic accent and 10% of it is a serious and harrowing account of his drug addiction and the toll it took on his life and personal relationships. luckily that's not a problem for me, it's my second favorite album of his lol.
Jan 17, 2022 I have no desire to go through either tbh lmao. Just some songs from both. Offended, Remind Me and the Pink song are definitely torture though . At least on Relapse his flow is amazing and the production is top notch. Not saying its a great album though but yeah Disagree. Deja Vu and Hello >> But I do like Tragic Endings (Recovery leftover), Castle, Walk On Water. AND.. it gave us the comeback verse of a lifetime w Chlora remix Edit; also kehlani and alicia k--- their parts it em that ruins the songs
Jan 17, 2022 I used to hate Relapse until not too long ago, like 2 years. I used to place it at the bottom of the list. But I started to appreciate it a lot more. The flows and cadences on that album are untouchable. No rapper has ever done anything quite like that. The beats are banging. Insane. If he hand't overdone the accents and the content was less redundant (serial killer) it would be hard to top that album. Relapse: Refill is amazing.
