Jan 19, 2022 Sales are r-----ed now. Back in the day you had to buy an album, so the first week was always going to be stronger than today’s equivalents. But after that initial purchase, whether you bumped it daily for a year or tossed it out, your engagement stopped being tracked at that first week more or less. Imo sustainability on the charts is a way better indicator of relevance now
