Jan 20, 2022 He needs to start rapping at a higher level again like he was pre-Revival if he’s to maintain my attention at blind-rappity rap at this point, obviously paired with the better sound he’s got now though. I’d much prefer some artistry than what he’s doing right now, he’s too talented to waste it on becoming just another Tech, Joyner, Token, Hopsin etc type rapper putting out countless amounts of undefinable tracks. We need some substance, whether personal or inventive, just something. Relapse at the time it came out was limited to his ability from relearning his skills, albeit still much more interesting than much of the content that supersedes it, now something along those lines (dissimilar content of course) would be achievable in his sleep if he put his mind to it. He just needs commitment & the balls to take the risk.
