Because it’s based on competition (battle rap, beefs, bars etc) - which is a unique part of this genre that has slowly started to disappear in what constitutes as successful or ‘good’ but remains when it comes to critiquing such rappers that pride themselves in said work, there’s glaring contradictions running rife in hip hop atm.

Jul 21, 2021 I'm not the hugest fan of higher or gnat I also think that black magic and guns blazing are some of the better sounding songs off of side b I'm not the craziest fan of the beat on Zeus but the song itself is great and I feel as if em should've spent longer on some beats on discombobulated but that song is also great

Jul 21, 2021 Pretty much agree except for Higher which is a bit simple. But Side A also has really good stuff like You Gon' Learn for example.
