Jan 22, 2022 4:44 is a very good album tho but yeah the fact that the album is focus on the " metaphoric " aspect of the lyrics and not also in the intensity of the flow or even the production which are all based on sample and lead to feelings of bore during the listening, notwithstanding i think we have to be in a special mood to listen this type of album I think jay-z wanted to go back to the roots of rap, only smooth voice, sampled instrumental, and very good lyrics. In fact 4:44 made me think a lot to infinite, in the simplicity of the flow, the smootheness of the flow, the non-intensity of the voice, the very simple production ( which in the both project are based on sample from jazz) and of the course the lyrics ( not the theme, but the way they approach lyrics in the both project)
Jan 22, 2022 I would say Premonition, In Too Deep, Darkness, Leaving Heaven, Never Love Again, No Regrets, Favorite b----, Guns Blazing, Higher, & Zeus were all serious/all emotional songs. He had songs like that on both A & B. I don’t get it when I see people say he didn’t say nothing on Side B. Either they’re haters or they just didn’t listen correctly.
Jan 22, 2022 Jay might get Em with the money talk. But Em gets him with the emotional s--- & gets him lyrically. Em’s gun bars be insane too. s---, he even got him on Renegade. And if they collaborated in 2022, Em is bodying him again. Say I’m lying, go ahead. Jay is a legend don’t get me wrong but I feel like more people say Em isn’t better cause of him being a white guy. I’d even go as far to say Nas is better than Jay lyrically too.

Jan 22, 2022 Some tracks and albums (from weak distributors) at 12-1 PM MEZ. They are also leakable because of weak distributors (sorry. don't know what else to call them). Information in the Database always at 12-1 PM MEZ (strong distributors) but not leakable. Sometimes there is another update but rarely at 11 PM MEZ. If that happens, then you can also leak them. But this does not usually apply to US rap

Jan 22, 2022 I agree but the first two songs, walk on water and believe. And the end in your head, castle and arose are good mature songs imo.
