Jul 29, 2021 He is still Eminem and makes great music, just as he did 20 years ago. How has he got rid of his identity? He was more not himself on his early albums as he was playing up to his persona and character. Sounds to me you want him to make music from 20 years ago, so you think if he sounds the same or copy’s that formula, then that will capture that era again. Pretty obvious he chooses not too and always wants to sound different with every album and push his ability all the time and that’s how it should be. Problem is that Eminem doesn’t make a classic album from start to finish. But still makes some of his best music to date. The Ringer is more real and grounded than anything he has done before and that is very much Eminem on that track,

Jul 29, 2021 He's putting pressure on his throat or his palate to make his voice sound more rough and mmlp-ish. While people would rather want a melodic voice like he did on Stepping Stones. I like both voices but yeah I'd prefer if he stuck to Stepping Stones voice at least for another album.
