Jan 26, 2022 So I think everyone has forgotten about Shady Con and the Stan’s Revenge beat produced by Eminem, partly because Tom Macdonald bought and used it the way he did, but I think that it is further evidence that Em has been working on MMLP3 since at least before the NFT was released. He was probably cooking up beats for the Stan/Bad Guy sequel but didn’t use that one for the track he wrote but still wanted to release it and decided to make the NFT out of it. This just makes me more excited because if MMLP3 actually does come out, I don’t want it to be some rushed project, but something he worked hard on for a while now, maybe at the same time as Side B. Even the October delay gives me hope if Stan’s Revenge is a reject beat from the creation process because that means a couple of things… 1) he is making his own beats for the project 2) it indicates some part of the sonic style and the thematic approach his music is taking 3) the beat was awesome and didn’t make the cut indicates a high standard for the project overall… All this just adds up to make me very excited for whatever comes out next from Marshall, whenever that is!!!

Jan 26, 2022 It feels like Revival was supposed to be a spiritual successor to Relapse but then suddenly something changed midway through development of the album. I don’t know what happened during 2017 but I blame Paul Rosenberg for it.
