Feb 2, 2022 I can already picture the trailer,,, "girl I'm looking at ya... *cop chase starts* REAR REAR REAR"
Feb 2, 2022 Doubt it. He doesn’t even fully produce beats any more, just adds things, here and there. Will just add something to a beat made by someone else. His next album won’t be produced by him, just will oversee it and be a executive. Kinda lazy in my opinion when he is one of the best beat makers ever, has a iconic sound and that’s his thing. He doesn’t write, which I don’t care about as that is not what Dre is about. But producing is, so doesn’t make sense to me. He is then fully relying on other people to make an album for him.
Feb 2, 2022 I loved Dre’s production on Compton, even though it was different. I do have to say though, I sometimes miss the loud snares and bass like in 2001
Feb 2, 2022 He’s always produced like this, even on 2001. He’s a producer, not a beat maker. He does.
Feb 2, 2022 I like both, people seem to trash Compton to platform 2001 even though they’re both diametrically opposed. The amount of creativity & skill of the musicians & production level along with the songwriting is heaps ahead of 2001. Whereas 2001 is straight to the point, cutting edge quality sound. Both are straight excellence in their own right.
Feb 2, 2022 Heard Rap God earlier today, thought it would’ve lost its charm but my god it still goes off. Love the part when the beat changes & he starts the shouting delivery: So I wanna make sure somewhere in this chicken scratch I scribble and doodle enough rhymes To maybe try to help get some people through tough times But I gotta keep a few punchlines Just in case 'cause even you unsigned Rappers are hungry lookin' at me like it's lunchtime
Feb 2, 2022 I know he always had team behind him. But he is now getting beats all ready made from producers and barely adding anything to it. Also he barely writes on his albums. A couple? I know he wrote stuff for other artists on their albums
Feb 2, 2022 He’s working with a team producing his records just like he did in the 2001 sessions, he just credits people more now, that’s why people would always push the “ghost producer” narrative earlier in his career. There’s additional credits also due to the layers of the production compared to before where there would just be drum loops & a driving melody, take Still DRE for example, minimalist beat yet produced by Dre, Scott Storch & Mel-Man. As we know Storch did the driving melody, it’s the same concept as now. He’s always part of the writing process, he makes other artists change parts of their verses too. This is a producer at the core.
Feb 2, 2022 Probably the way she is. But she sounds condescending and insincere every time she is nice to the guests or when asking a question. Maybe just being too enthusiastic but would be annoying if I was getting interviewed by her.
Feb 2, 2022 Weird that a virgin likes love making music, do you light candles after your parents go to bed and jerk off to it?
