Feb 3, 2022 I don't wanna sound like an a------, it's a genuine question, why are americans so obsessed with race?
Feb 3, 2022 Because we as a country was (and continues to be in some regards) built on racism so it's systematically ingrained to view a bunch of s--- through that lense. When a bunch of people are f----- over (understatement) for hundreds of years it's a little hard not to question why certain decisions are made, cause a lot of the time it could have racial undertones.
Feb 3, 2022 That's such a .. weird and intricate way to go tho.. But i do remember him sounding so unenthusiastic during his interview on shade45 when the album had just dropped. Like he just sounded off, almost like he was disappointed with it Gotta listen to that one again
Feb 3, 2022 JOHN: You must be pretty excited to have a new album coming out. Tell me about it. EMINEM: I’ve been working on it for over a year. You know how it is—you make songs, and as you make the new ones, the old ones get old and you throw them out. The album is called Revival. It’s a reflection of where I’m at right now, but also I feel like what I tried to do was diversify. I’ve tried to make a little something for everyone. https://www.interviewmagazine.com/music/eminem-elton-john-december-2017-interview
Feb 3, 2022 “Something for everyone” What ruined Revival and a philosophy that he needs to get rid of. He still doing it now but the only difference is, is that he is making great songs with good beats on his albums. Where as Revival was just a mess. He needs to find his balls again, be creative and just make music for him.
Feb 3, 2022 Revival's reception ruined his confidence, he'll never take risks again I mean in the sense that I don't think he'll ever stick to a single theme, style or subject again for an entire album
