Reception of the tracklist was big red flag and reason for concern with all the pop, singer feats and a lot of the title tracks all obviously being love themed. I disagree people made there mind up before they heard it. If MTBMB had same rollout as Revival, it would have been hyped and received very well. If Revival came out as a surprise album, it still would have got the reception it got. Bad music is bad music.
