Aug 5, 2021 I think the stakes are completely different with the two songs, one had two newcomers and one has two legends. That being said, I'm keeping my expectations... neutral? Not low or high, kinda just interested to hear how they all approach the song
Aug 5, 2021 Well I think this song is going to be about paying homage to EPMD. Nas and Em sharing stories about growing up while listening to them. So it's pretty familiar territory since it's basically what Em has been doing a lot, specially on MTBMB. I'm not expecting anything poetic or life changing. No anthem. But if the beat is on point and they both managed to keep a similar vibe, then it could be a song I see myself replaying from time to time.
