Mar 15, 2022 Em was proof's best friend, it has been said that Proof was the glue to the whole group. You have your points but maybe something happened after 2009. Eminem didn't probably see any of them besides Porter after 2009-10. that might be related to the fact that he is sober and some others were having bad influence on him. Musically, after 2009 the guy basically went to a completely new route, so it's obvious why he didn't work with D12 much. Actually, I believe after 2009, he avoided D12 for some reason but that's not bad thing per se. We don't even know the reason behind that. It might be just that he doesn't connect with the guys like he used to, maybe it's just growing distance with time, it happened to me to with few of my closest friends. As you grow up and grow older, you change, others change and you don't get along as well as you did back then. We don't have to blame him or anybody else for that. It's just the nature of human relations. It's not like he has problems keeping up relations with everybody from his past anyway. He still has Dre, 50... Maybe D12 was trying to milk him time to time, You wouldn't expect 50 or Dre to milk Em's fame since they are almost as famous as him if not more, but D12 members were not. Maybe Em felt used, which I think might be related if not the only reason since he addresed it on Stepping Stone. In a way, I felt like he made that clear by saying he never wanted shoulder the group, he wanted everyone to be able to stand for themselves but that was never the case. The group existed bc Em was on it. And bc he is not on it, nobody really cares lol. He didn't exactly said he was used by them, instead he said he didn't want them to think as if he used them as a stepping stone but I think that song kinda implies that he was feeling as if he was exploited by the group members from time to time. Again, not just that, there can be many reasons affecting it. Lol. He doesn't have to talk about someone he knows getting killed, what kind of bs is that ? He didn't even have to acknowledge Outsidaz, I doubt they had any actual fame to be milked by Eminem anyway. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. You only know Outsidaz name because Em signed with Dre and actually delivered the best s--- possible to became as famous as he was at 99 and stayed relevant to this day. Well, even if you did know Outsidaz before Em, congrats, cuz obviously u were in the very little minority of %0,00000001 of the world population lol
