Em isn't the type of person to scrap albums, considering he isn't like a drug addict or something anymore. At the very least, somewhere along the process he just converts it to another album (like Relapse 2 being Recovery)

Mar 23, 2022 Eminem basically confirmed in the Sway interview that he was working on Revival for awhile, I just don’t understand how B*** could say whatever extra s--- he was working on was scrapped. Em even said numerous times he’s always working and always makes a bunch of songs for no reason to see if the songs would fit if they even fit. That’s just being a normal Eminem fan and watching his interviews. He only repeats himself 100 million times. So anybody could have that “info” and twist it. 2014 was the Shady XV s--- & 2015 was the southpaw soundtrack. Why would he drop twice in one year??? I wouldn’t call that a “scrap”. IMO he only dropped Side B the same year as Side A was cause of Covid and he was bored as f--- lol.

Mar 24, 2022 People probably have different definitions of what ”scrapped” means… imo Relapse 2 was scrapped and replaced with Recovery, Recovery wasnt a reworked version of Relapse 2. Who knows if there was a scrapped album in 2015, maybe there was, maybe it was an early version of Revival which he just continued working on, or it was something completely different. Not defending B*** here btw, he full of it

Mar 24, 2022 IIRC Revival was started in 2016 and basically took a year to make, can't remember a source on it though My definition of scrapped is that it just doesn't come out. Like Relapse 2 wasn't scrapped imo, the music sounded different and had a different vibe so he just took what he had into a different direction, Recovery. Like it came out, and whatever was scrapped was because it just didn't fit Recovery. There's a grey area here I guess. I've heard some "Relapse 2" scrapped material, but I still see it as part of Recovery. Relapse was messy as h--- with psycho bars, murder, party anthems, and heartfelt music. Recovery was much more straight forward and focused, so of course any songs that don't match that vibe and direction get cut. But because the vibe doesn't fit, it's deemed as Relapse 2 to leakers, you see what I'm saying? Shout out that one dude that loves paragraph essays on this forum, the site needs it to flourish.
