Aug 6, 2021 So…. I wasn’t in the mood per say to delve into the verse after experiencing “D***”. It was a hard left to go right into lyrical rap after that. Fast forward and I heard the verse. And….. It was cool. It felt like it was from his MMLP2-2016 era which, in my opinion is a underrated era lyrically, but musically an acquired taste Which is what this verse is. A “Acquired taste” By Rap nerd standards it’s fine. But, for a universal appeal I understand the gripes with it. Musically it’s not easy to listen to. And even lyrically it isn’t mind blowing either. It’s more of a rhyme heavy verse which doesn’t get much appreciation unless you are a nerd in this Rap s---. Especially if the content is lacking But, I’m not mad at it. His flow on that beat change fit perfectly with it. d--- near flawless. He should of ended it with that because once he transitioned back to the original beat and use that “One tone flow” it’s rocky on eras. But, again, I’m not mad at it. But I can understand why people don’t f*** with it

Especially when he starts listing rappers and goes off the rails like the beat doesn't even exist. Gonna try to erase that s--- from my memory and pretend this collab never happened.

Aug 6, 2021 Honestly speaking, I hate this condescending take where differing opinions are often dismissed based on the assumption that others are less equipped to have a fair take. Everyone has their own taste and everyone finds something different to like and dislike about a song, rarely even the same things. While there are people who hate the flow he does at the end of his verse, that exact part is what I liked the most from his verse. So maybe it is not about being right or wrong but just having a different opinion. This supremacist attitude from the elitists and the frequent posters here is exactly why I don't like posting much here. Just takes away the purpose from a genuine discussion/debate
