May 26, 2022 I definitely think the first half was re-recorded, it just sounds too different from the rest of the song.
May 26, 2022 So, the first 30 seconds of Jimmy, Brian and Mike are unarguably new. There was probably some super edgy s--- there, or the recording tapes got f----- and had to be redone during that section. If you pay attention, you can actually hear some of the old lyrics being spit by 2000 Eminem, layered under 202X Eminem. After the 30 second mark, it switches to the original voice, which is what the whole song used to sound like. I think 202X Em might have added to the chorus (maybe), and I'm almost certain that current Em did the voice for Mr. Johnson, too.
May 26, 2022 I’ll add “Stimulate” and the two freestyles. Only reason for Stimulate is because my version cuts out before the guitar outro comes on. I got my version from a mixtape many, many years ago. Lol It’s good the Streaming kids finally get to hear these joints. 2003 era was underrated.
May 26, 2022 Yall go to the live version of The Real Slim Shady, Proof definitely mixed a lot better with Em than Royce. The timestamp of 2:46-2:56 just goes f---ing raw.
May 26, 2022 Good call leaving 'Jimmy' off. Seems random, would have been out of place on TES. Also I'm sure he recorded other good songs we ain't hear, he apparently did one with Rakim? He couldn't give us that?
May 26, 2022 God d---! ve missed that feeling of hearing the og Slim voice without knowing the lyrics
