Aug 7, 2021 He lacks a filter in his writing & if it’s something personality-wise that he cannot escape, I’d rather him channel it into a mixtape where he fires off all these throwaway bars & flows. That way he can keep the content-filled songs for the albums.

As far as I'm concerned, MTBMB is a two sided project, so I don't think we should always have to say which Side we're talking to, unless we need to differentiate them for specific reasons. For example: I prefer Side B because of songs like Book Of Rhymes. But that's just the way I see it.
Aug 7, 2021 Yeah, I don't get it. Why hasn't he put out Mixtapes?. Is it for the money? I mean, he has more money than he and the rest of the Mathers descendance will ever be able to count. Personally I think Mixtapes would take the pressure off having to always accomplish that #1 spot or whatever. He could try things in them and see what works, and then use those for official albums.
Aug 7, 2021 I don't skip songs when I bump Relapse or Recovery. MTBMB would have those 6? Songs from Side A I always skip, which hurt the project.
Aug 7, 2021 Personal preferences, my friend. I respect that. I do have a few skippers off MTBMB myself. But I still consider that project his 3rd classic. But we've been through that a dozen times before.

Aug 7, 2021 I would put it as my 6th after Recovery. It's not a bad project at all, his best since then. Encore has dope stuff, but he was too high having fun with them silly songs.
Aug 7, 2021 For me, albums like Encore and Relapse are the ones that hurt his legacy the most. And, don't get me wrong, I enjoy Relapse. I have fun when I listen to it. But the glorious Trilogy (SSLP, MMLP, TES) earned him such a solid spot within the whole culture.... only for him to pull some clown s--- in the next two albums.
Aug 7, 2021 No you really can't. I think most of us would be pleased if he could keep up with the 09-10 Era or even the druggy era(Side B is the exception) MMLP2 is one of the worst rap records ever made.
