Jun 5, 2022 Fall is notably under-talked-about for being the closest thing we've gotten to prime Eminem since The Warning, with 3 solid verses and no rambling (!). Meanwhile Ringer sucks up all the attention just for being vaguely MMLP-reminiscent for the first minute and a half or so, only to devolve into Throw It Up pt. 2 with an extremely awkward political rant tacked on at the end in order to try to save face with his Republican fans, while at the same time trying to relive the days when he actually rebelled against the establishment in some coherent fashion (as opposed to clueless railing against a decidedly antiracist, relatively antiwar form of right-wing populism). Eminem fans are such boobs.

The Post Malone and Em hints from Cole Bennet etc. We saw the label push back on Posty for that album (which is his worst by the way), which, combined with the lukewarm Westmore first single reception etc, I don’t think they got the reception or momentum they were expecting.
