Aug 7, 2021 My favorite album of Em’s. I fell in love with it instantly. I knew when I saw the 3am video that he was on some crazy new s---. And I f---ing hated Encore. There’s some good songs but man after the first three? I really thought he fell off after Encore then Relapse was like SSLP to me all over again. I was obsessed. Still play it beginning to end often.

Aug 7, 2021 Very new. He did that for the majority of that album. Let’s go back to 2009. Eminem hasn’t put out a solo album since 2004. Why in the world would I want to hear him channel the mind of killers/r--ist as a comeback album? I rather listen to revival because relapse is his worst album for me.
Aug 7, 2021 I personally don’t think outside producers have been good for him all that much or ever will be, no matter who you think would be good for him. Eminem Show, lot of mmlp was all Ems mind thinking of melodys etc. Story I read somewhere that Em was humming the lose yourself and The Way Iam melody in his head that he thought of and that’s how it came to life. Both Songs are a masterpiece from every stand point you can think of. Only Dre that compliments Em well. Every other producer is picking beats for Em that they think People would like to hear him on and never works. He is just getting sent beats and he is rapping to it. No constructing the tracks or anything else going in to the making of the songs other than rapping to the instrumental. Where as prior to Relapse when he was producing heavily on his albums, can tell lot of thought and original melodys were going to the crafting of his music. The beats were speaking just as much as his lyrics was. I can imagine he was constructing beats after he was finished writing and making a picture on his head of what he wanted or was thinking of a melody to go along with what he was writing. Doesn’t happen now, which is heavily affecting quality of his albums imo.
