I agree, even if the lows on mmlp2 are lower, the highs are way higher

MMLP2 has a few gems though, I'll give you that :'). But even Revival had good songs.

This is gonna sound weird and maybe cringe but f--- it, Recovery was when Eminem started to become somewhat of a p----, Idk how to explain what I'm trying to say and it's not that I still expect him or want him to pistol whip people or s--- talk his mother, I'm glad he's matured in some ways, I'm mainly talking about his music, hopefully you can understand what I'm trying to explain... maybe not becoming a p----, more like "going soft" maybe? just like I do with my wife for example

The Mandalorian This is the way

Reducing MMLP2 to a few good tracks is just ridiculous.

Bad Guy, Rhyme Or Reason, Legacy, Rap God, a------ (minus the hook), Brainless, Evil Twin, Groundhog Day, Wicked Ways, Baby, Don't Front >>>>>>>> Anything on Recovery

h---, even the Rihanna single on MMLP2 is better than LTWYL as far as the concept goes. Personally, I'm not entirely sure on which album is better but MMLP2 > Recovery is a much better take than likening MMLP2 to Revival, former being miles ahead of the latter.

Man, mmlp2 has some great songs, why do I always forget? Brainless used to be on repeat daily back in the day (It's been almost a f---ing decade btw)

I though songs like Almost Famous, made him less of a p----. I thought Recovery was a good era.

    IMO

    Recovery:
    Cold Wind Blows
    Going Through Changes
    Seduction
    No Love
    Cinderella Man

    MMLP2:
Bad Guy (It drags a little but still a good song)
    Rhyme or Reason
    Survival (Sue me)
    Legacy
    a------
    Rap God
    Brainless
The Monster (Like I said, sue me)
    Evil Twin

Like I said, the lows may be lower but the highs are high af

And I respect your opinion, man, but there was something about recovery, it felt a little "fake" to me at the time, Idrk how to explain it

It's the 4th one for me, I don't think it's flawless tho, it could do without a couple of songs

one of the reasons the accents never bothered me is cause I'm not a native english speaker so I'm used to hearing accents and s---

Legacy sounds like Em trying to make a Recovery song but it's not the same

a------ is one of the songs I hate the most from taht album, the beat is also horrible.

Brainless and Baby are childish as f---. I don't get what people see in Baby. It's catchy but d---, Em was too old for that s---.

Rap Rock songs were a miss for me. Didn't really enjoy them. And the tracks with Sía were ok but pretty forgettable

Bad Guy is nice, could have been better though. Last verse is the best part.

Rhyme or Reason is cool and one of the few times where I think this type of sound worked well.

Love Rap God. Always did. I think people just hate because of the fast part.

Groundhog Day and Evil Twin are dope.

I like LTWYL more than The Monster and it's yodelling, but I like both anyway.

I'm not even gonna mention the other songs I hate again.

Recovery after Relapse was such a
monumental shift. The whole substance and headspace was from a completely different orientation. If you were a big fan of Relapse, that pivot was harder to make

I love Recovery for its own reasons, but Relapse is utterly inimitable.

    Your English is excellent, btw

All of Em’s albums have some kind of appeal. They are all great in their own aspects.

I think Revival was fine? It did great commercially. It gave us WoW, Castle, Arose, Believe, more Rick Rubin Rock (if you were into that), framed, and In Your Head. It also eventually lead to the Eminem we have to today and the Chloraseptic remix verse (2 Chainz killed it as well, but that is never talked about).

Thanks, I try my best, I think that's what I was trying to say btw, love it or hate it, relapse had Em being true to himself, some people say that about revival but I get the same feeling I got from recovery, it felt way too... idk "poppy" perhaps?
