Jun 24, 2022 if we have to compare Em and the Weeknd 2020 was the 2002 of the Weeknd. His biggest year so it makes sense him doing numbers with that greatest hits.
Jun 24, 2022 but that disc with new music will get shadowed by the greatest hits and not have the same impact as a new stand alone album so I don't know what the f is he doing lol
Jun 24, 2022 90K isn't that much though, I think Em would do more but not sure if he would do more than Drake (200K). He did drop a single before the project, it's not something that will blow up but it's something.
Jun 24, 2022 He already did the Greatest Hits/new project thing with ShadyXV. Keep the album away from CC2, it should have a few new songs anyway.
Jun 24, 2022 10k is not really high for physicals. Em did almost 300k with MTBMB, least he'd do with another album is around 100k at least. Plus, if it's advertised as another greatest hits album / Curtain Call 2, I believe it's gonna draw a lot more attention, many people would wanna have a copy of it. I doubt number of people who has collection of The Weeknd albums are %10 of those who have Em album collections...
Jun 24, 2022 279, but that was a new album. Greatest Hits don't make the same noise these days. We will see. My guess is this is coming in a week or two. Why would they take longer to drop soemthing that's already done? And the single is out, music video and everything.
Jun 24, 2022 Also this song was from that snoop project? Makes no sense it’s an Eminem song now lol
Jun 24, 2022 Probably decided the song is too good to be released as an NFT track that you need to pay 5k for
Jun 24, 2022 Whoever got Eminem and Snoop into NFTs has a special place in h---. Song is good though. Too bad it’s gonna be laughed at and ignored because everyone hates NFTs like murder.
Jun 24, 2022 See, nothing makes noise these days compared to those days. But if u have all Em albums, you'll be buying this one. Plus, most likely, if you have some albums physically and Curtain Call is one of them, you'll most likely buy the second one unless you are not interested in Em anymore. I'm sure there are few hundred k people who are still interested in buying albums physically and another greatest hits by Em is one of those albums that would interest the most of them... We'll see tho...
Jun 24, 2022 Even if this is CC2, there is still no problem for him to release a new album alongside it or a few months later. You dont have to work hard on a greatest hits album, even if you put like 2 or 3 new songs to it. EDIT: I guess one thing is clear as h---: Something will come this year
Jun 24, 2022 There's a fast verse obviously. I think this would have also been more sonically pleasing some years ago, but it's ok, I still like it. It does sound more like an Em song than a Snoop track though, it makes sense that he kept it.
Jun 24, 2022 Please don't tell me you use the term 'sonically pleasing' when talking to people in real life too ?
Jun 24, 2022 I think cc2 is marketing for bigger sales. If Em would release his final album it would sell alot more.He could always comeback like Jay z did with the black album
