Jun 27, 2022 Shawn Cee's the perfect example of how taking oneself too seriously makes one insufferable.
Jun 27, 2022 I think for once the kind of murky harshness of the beat and vocals works here though. It's like it adds to the feeling of him on his deathbed for some reason. It's not necessarily that pleasing to listen to but it enhances the feeling of his pain to me. Masterpiece of a track to me. Such a shame it's on Revival.
Jun 27, 2022 Yeah but most people get puns, they aren't difficult to get. What goes over people's heads way more is his legit humour, his self-deprecation, little details... not the puns. Everybody gets the puns, and it just makes them worse when he constantly points them out, as if they're so complicated.
Jun 27, 2022 That's just a lack of knowledge though. Everybody gets puns. There's no need to point them out.
Jun 27, 2022 Not seeing Eminem on the revival cover is a whole other level of r-----ed you're right about Kamikaze for sure though
Jun 27, 2022 To be honest, even releasing Curtain Call 2 made the biggest sense back then as performing there is like cementing your legacy. And like a month after the event Paul is like: "f---, s---, f---ing s---! We at least could have dropped a biggest hits album if you hadn't one to put out!" Classic SR.
Jun 27, 2022 he can do that he did it with mmlp 2 and Kamikaze while features sounded like s---. Deep voice choppy flow Em.
Jun 27, 2022 Creating this type of music video was a good idea, I probably watched it like 15 times already.
Jun 27, 2022 I think Em is about to start suprise-dropping singles instead of albums. But I'm all for it.
