Jun 28, 2022 Em didn't work with Paul until his late 20's. If you know his early music you know he had a long history with substances and different issues way before Paul came around. Em's first suicide attempt was pre-Paul, after Infinite flopped.
Jun 28, 2022 It wasn't even really that hard, honestly... everyone else seemed to understand it. I guess it was too complex for you, so let's leave it at that before you overload.
Jun 28, 2022 Cole made two of Em's best videos They already used Em's music to promote this movie. And the previous ones also
Jun 28, 2022 the point is, producers don't have a say anymore on what Em does on their beats and that turns it into a s-----y-like combo To answer Chuny, it's something that started to happen on MMLP2 I believe since there's still interviews with people like Just Blaze producing for Em and being in the studio with Em on Recovery, and IIRC the person who did the beat for Bad Guy only sent Em the beat and wasn't in the studio for it. Nowadays, we know Em doesn't have producers in the studio working with him like he used to based on a lot of things. IllaDaProducer has made beats for Revival, Kami, and Side B and only met Eminem like last week. f---, even other rappers don't do it, like Young M.A. sending Em a verse and they were never in the same studio for it.
Jun 28, 2022 Show proof of that...I don't believe you...Sure he is regarded as one of the GOATS but not everybody is going to bow down to whatever he says and I doubt he is that full of himself to not take constructive criticism or suggestions...please stop acting like he's an actual god...
Jun 28, 2022 "These are the moments you never forget! I’ve produced 7 records for @eminem but last night was the first time we got to connect IRL. He told me he was looking through beats for 2 days then when he heard the beat that would eventually become KILLSHOT he instantly knew that was the one" Does it sound like Illa had input in Killshot? (In the caption btw)
Jun 28, 2022 Do we know how the some of the collabs took place? Besides the one with Young MA. Like, the one with Joyner. Were they in the studio together?. Seems they were in the studio together with Snoop, judging from the first lines in Em's verse. And I think it shows, there's a different energy when artists actually work together. My original post came from a recent video Youtube suggested about 2 Chainz saying Dre kept making him go back and re-record or change stuff until he told Dre something like "I'm not like the white boy", not realizing Dre was actually trying to teach him, which he regrets. Or something like that.
Jun 28, 2022 in fact, HERE IS A f---ing STORY of how eminem DOES NOT TAKE f---ing CRITICISM CORRECTLY, and this is when HE WAS working with producers in the studio
Jun 28, 2022 MTBMB sold 279k first week without physicals, 117 of them is just iTunes, physicals came 3 weeks later. Em's strong af on pures
Jun 28, 2022 You are completely missing the point. AGAIN. When did @TheBorgerShop or I even say he's a God? Quite the opposite. I'd actually want him to work with producers on site and let them voice their opinions. Make him go back, re-record, change his voice, melodies, etc. BECAUSE he's NOT a God.
Jun 28, 2022 i wonder when the last time em and a producer outside dre actually collaborated in the studio, through the whole process of a song. seems like ems just been buying beats and doing his own thing with them for a long time with little to no input from the original producer. edit, rick rubin i guess...that didn't really work well
