Jun 30, 2022 Either the album won't be named Curtain Call 2 at all, and it's just a game to surprise everyone yet again - Which I personally don't believe is the case. Or, he (and by he I mean Paul) want to show that his legacy didn't end after The Eminem Show and that he has released enough *good* music since his hiatus that allows him to put out another Greatest Hits album. Proving that Em is still pretty relevant despite the narrative that Hip-Hop Twitter or the Culture in general have been trying to cement in recent years.
Jun 30, 2022 I f--- with them if they come on shuffle but I feel they are the weakest tracks on the album
Jun 30, 2022 I don’t think he’ll hype up a greatest hits album like this, even the Eminem show anniversary had a date days in advance but we still waiting for a date for this
Jun 30, 2022 Maybe Darkness, but it pretty much went under the radar I think (outside of stans). I liked it though, weird choice for a single but good song.
Jun 30, 2022 But he hasn't been hyping anything. He just put #CurtainCall2 on his social medias. When's he done that for an actual album?
Jun 30, 2022 Well, to be fair they did advertise it during his ApeFest Day performance with Snoop in which they announce their song together. Which is bigger than simply using a Hashtag.
Jun 30, 2022 The single is out, and the video, but maybe he wants to drop it next week to punish Game
Jun 30, 2022 Kamikaze dropped. MGK dissed Em. Em replied. Curtain Calls 2 drops tonight with a few shots at Game. Game releases his album dissing Em next week. Em replies.
Jun 30, 2022 Anyway, I don't think Em will bless us with a full second cd. It just feels weird to let us wait so long just to drop a compilation and a new album at the same time. I bet he would drop a handful of new tracks though.
