Jul 6, 2022 It could go number 1 and I would still have the same issues with the song obviously. I've said it before, I like seeing them together and the hook. Both rapping fast was a bad idea, and some terrible Eminem lines as expected. Including the whole explaining a line thing he's been doing. I have yet to listen to the song without watching the video. I just don't feel like it. I think the video is what makes it interesting. I prefer Eazy by Game and Kanye lol which btw made it to the top 50, and without a video

Jul 6, 2022 Darkness so good. Great concept and leading song, visual for MTBMB, as was Godzilla. Both songs highlighted the album very well. But Darkness was how to make a song about a serious topic and perfect it, unlike Revival.
Jul 6, 2022 Using the mindset of the shooter before the massacre as a metaphor for his own anxiety before a show, and then revealing in the third verse as to how he's talking from the perspective of the shooter while taking both the listener and the victims of the mass-shooting by surprise at the same time was a genius idea that was executed equally well. Other than the production, the song is a 10/10 with Eminem showing how very few can narrate stories as good as him in the game.

Jul 6, 2022 Yeah, it’s why it’s so frustrating that he doesn’t fully go in with an conceptual, themed album as he is fully capable of creating something so different and unique as he has the ability to do so, as tracks like Darkness prove that. But he has to make everything related to him and feels the need to make an album for everyone to listen too, hence the same formulas and variety tracks on every album he has done.
Jul 6, 2022 I know Em is sober now but I wonder hypothetically how his music would sound would if he just smoked weed. Don't want the man to relapse but it sucks he's an addict. I feel like the drugs gave him a better ear for music and contributed to a smoother flow.
