Aug 12, 2021 Yo everyone, i heard and see many s----s about some mf who put their opinion without the true knowledege of hip-hop or even a little bit of knowledge in music. Let's talk real about something that many people say and this things prove that they are or bipolar or just completly dumb since they want to folllow the trend of bashing eminen. Effectivly back in 2017 everyone ( and that's a true everyone ) said that eminem has lost his flow and more especially that his delivery was too choppy and most of all that his voice was too loud. Then kamikaze, a new wave for eminem yeah cool, the majority liked it, and FINALLY some GOODS beats, then the few critics says that eminem rapping too fast and his voice was better but still to be forced. The side A, a true improvement but sadly godzilla gave eminem a new era of critics about fast flow. Then adventure of moon man and slim shady a very smooth flow, the more smooth since 2003. Everyone was seem to like it, then side B, a true succes for the fan, and now eminem deliver a fire verse in EPMD2 and now everyone bashing " the smooth " flow by saying that since adventure of moon man the flow is wack and they wanted to be more emotional by use a higher and forced voice. Bros youre like never happy; that's worst than kanye west at this point
Aug 12, 2021 Moon Man and Slim flow was dope. And you skipped his Killer verse, which he ruined going fast for no reason. Nas collab verse has been trashed in reviews for blogs too, I don't think it's all trash, just the beggining with that flow I don't enjoy, and the end when he goes fast. I think last decade was mostly horrible.
Aug 12, 2021 Really would love his next project to have really distinct sound or production. Like relapse and recovery. Something that really stands out. Would prefer a more experimental album that ends up being bad than another like mtbmb.
Aug 12, 2021 I think my biggest piece of advice for Em at this point is take the feedback from Adventures of Moon Man and Slim. Be smooth with it, dont pack a million entendres into one verse and instead use the fast flow and crazy word play as a flex on occasion to remind people. Its cool to have a nuke in your arsenal but overusing it kinda makes it less awe inspiring. Plus if he strips back the similes and entendres itll allow him to save more for other songs, not force as many, and eliminate the cornier ones. But thats just my stance from a dude on a forum page.
